Farm Credit Renews Support for IAC Dairy Center

The Farm Credit institutions recently renewed their support of the International Agri-Center. The Farm Credit entities have a history as strong supporters of the International Agri-Center. In 2008, the International Agri-Center announced the renaming of the Tulare Dairy Center to the Farm Credit Dairy Center. The 80,000-square-foot dairy center houses hundreds of dairy exhibits during the annual World Ag Expo and is the most highly-trafficked area of the grounds by show attendees.

World Ag Expo expands Seminar Center

Seminar Center

World Ag Expo has expanded the Agriculture Seminars Center. The expanded seminars center sits on a 1,200-square-foot section of the dairy expansion area in the South section of the show grounds and will hold all the seminars for the three-day expo. In 2009, World Ag Expo offered seminars in general agriculture, international trade, irrigation and three full days of seminars for the dairy industry. In 2010, the expansion area will contain all of the 2009 seminar categories plus seminars for the beef industry, hay and forage and an additional area of interest to be announced. All seminars are selected by a committee of World Ag Expo volunteers and staff. The nomination deadline has been extended to August 17, 2009. Interested companies can enter their nominations to World Ag Expo’s seminar committee by downloading and completing the nomination form.

World Ag Expo has officially launched its search to find the newest and most innovative products for the upcoming year’s expo. For the fifth year now, a panel of World Ag Expo Top-10 judges will select 10 new products to highlight at the 2010 Expo, scheduled for February 9–11, 2010. Announced at World Ag Expo’s Media Day, prior to the official opening of the expo, the Top-10 products is a favorite expo feature for attendees of all ages. The exposure gained from the completion has, for some companies, been the springboard they needed to launch their products’ success into the next year.
