AgCareers.com to Discuss Ag Warriors Program Success at World Ag Expo

In 2013, the International Agri-Center transferred its Ag Warriors program to AgCareers.com.  A press event will be held immediately following World Ag Expo’s Opening Ceremonies which begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Heritage Complex, Banquet Hall.

The event will include remarks from Jerry Sinift, International Agri-Center and Eric Spell, AgCareers.com.  There will also be veterans in attendance.  Scot Hillman, J.D. Heiskell & Company will discuss their success with hiring a veteran through the Ag Warriors Program.

 “AgCareers.com is excited to be continuing the efforts of the Ag Warriors program,” said Eric Spell, president of AgCareers.com.  “As we speak with clients there is genuine interest in employing veterans and military men and women within our industry.  The Ag Warriors program gives employers an avenue to connect with this talent and share the many possibilities the agricultural industry holds.”

For military men and women interested in becoming involved, visit the AgCareers.com website and to set-up an account and post your resume selecting the Ag Warriors accreditation.

“In the short time while that we’ve been working with the program, we have been overwhelmed by the support from employers and their willingness to get involved with Ag Warriors,” said Spell.  “We look for this to only continue and grow as we share the opportunities to participate with more employers utilizing AgCareers.com.  Through this employer participation, we will provide a well-rounded scope of viable job opportunities within agriculture for our service members.”
