Progressive Dairy enters third year of podcasting with nearly 40 episodes available

Jerome, ID — In 2021, the Progressive Dairy staff will continue developing its podcast offerings, marking the company’s third year of publishing success in the new medium.

The Progressive Dairy podcast launched in September 2019 and has featured agricultural and dairy industry leaders like Kay Johnson Smith, Tom Earleywine and Dr. Gordie Jones, as well as well-known dairy managers such as Jim Ostrom and Lloyd Holterman.

“We’re really proud of what we’ve accomplished with the podcast in the first two seasons, and we’re looking forward to sharing more of the expertise and powerful stories, straight from the mouths of leaders in the dairy community, in 2021,” says Progressive Dairy Managing Editor Walt Cooley.

Each of the publication’s top six most popular episodes of 2020 received 1,200 downloads, with about 25,000 downloads total from 2019 to 2020.

“Our goal is to provide value to our listeners by continuing to share the voices of the most sought-after industry leaders and dairy producers, with exclusive interviews on real-life, timely topics that impact the dairy industry,” says podcast co-host and Progressive Dairy Editor Peggy Coffeen.

The Progressive Dairy podcast is available in most streaming services, including Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Spotify. You can also listen in by visiting www.progressivedairy.com/podcasts, clicking on an episode title and clicking the “play” button.
